Awareness Workshop Part 1: What is D.I.G.N.I.T.Y.?

Overview: Participants will engage in activities and discussions about the word dignity and look at the generational obstacles that have contributed to the African-American woman’s experiences and struggles that came against her sense of dignity. The participant will contrast her life today and the lives of African-American women who came before her and assess if things are better. Through self-examination, the workshop will help participants create a lifestyle of dignity in every area of her life.
